ABOUT Brandee
Welcome to Temple Trainer. My name is Brandee Jenkins. I’m an AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America) Certified Personal Trainer. I started as a trainer at the YMCA in 2013 and after training in a gym setting for a year decided to start my own training business. I could see how intimidating the gym environment could be for some of my clients and I wanted to find a way to change that. So I turned my basement into a full gym where my clients can come and work out in a safe, judgment-free space.
A little bit about me: I’ve been married to my husband Chad for twenty-five years and we have two amazing adult children. We enjoy traveling to places where we can get outside and enjoy nature, and of course eat amazing food. We love riding our bikes on all of the Metro’s awesome trails, and getting outside to hike since we have such incredible parks and recreational areas. Some of my favorite things are baking, wine, coffee and my gym manager Remmi, aka the family pup.
When you come see me, we will work together to develop a program that helps you meet your personal goals. My philosophy is centered around foundational strength training, movement patterns that help you better perform activities in your daily life, and stay injury free. I believe in a balance of strength training, cardio conditioning, and flexibility. My goal for anyone who trains with me is that they have fun, work hard and are completely comfortable – well, mostly.
